Develop your leadership and outdoor/environmental education skills by serving as an Experiential Education Facilitator at the Princeton-Blairstown Center;located in the heart of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

April 4 - November 18, 2022

(Wilderness First Responder training available from March 27-April 3 if interested)

• Lead participants safely through the Princeton-Blairstown Center's adventure-based environmental and experiential education curriculum.
• Build life skills in youth from historically marginalized communities through social emotional learning activities.
• Earn certifications: American Red Cross First Aid/Lifeguard/CPR/AED, Association for Challenge Course Technology Level I or II.
• Total compensation includes:
  • Salary $600 - $650 per week.
  • Room and board in shared, renovated two-bedroom apartment(valued~$340 per week),and three weeks of training.

• Lead groups of middle and high school-age students through hands-on challenge course activities, outdoor and environmental education experiences, and academic enrichment lessons.
• Gain leadership experience developing social emotional learning skills working with students from historically marginalized communities.
• Build competency leading groups in challenging conversations, outdoor settings, and dynamic environments.
• Earn college credit.

Bretton Woods Recreation Center located in Germantown, MD. Bretton wood is looking for Outdoor Adventure Instructors. The position would be seasonal with more hours to work during the fall, spring, and summer months. The pay would be between $16-$20 an hour depending on experience. Go to  for more information.
